　昭和４７年（１９７２年）菊丸は自身が癖毛だった為、「ウエーブパーマがあるなら真っ直ぐにするパーマも出来るのでは？」と考えました。あらゆる人種の髪の毛を研究。太さや髪質に合わせて、９年に渡り研究を重ね、１９８１年「ストレート　パーマ」と名付け、特許を取得しました。

　その後、集英社の雑誌「non-no」の紙上にて「ストレート・パーマ」を発表。

特集ページが組まれ、「ストレートパーマ」が大ブームとなりました。

　また、ストレートヘアと癖毛、２タイプのシャンプー・リンス・トリートメントの開発をし、KM'S（けーえむえす）ブランドを手がけました。「癖毛」はもちろんの事、お客様から寄せられる髪に関する様々なお悩みに、お答えしております。お気軽にご相談下さい。

In 1972, he thought " there is a wavy permanent, so there might be able to invent a straight permanent"because Kikumaru himself was born with a curly hair.He researched the hair of all races.In 1981, after 9years of the research in all kinds of hair types and the differences in thickness, he named "a straight permanent"and obtained a patent.After that, the straight permanent was published by "non-no" the magazine of Shueisha. The straight permanent has been featured and has become a big big boom.He made a brand called"K.M's" which developed some products of shampoo,rinse and treatment for in both two types of straight and curly hairs.We are always welcome to answerabout any troubles with your hair.Please feel free to ask!
